Had a couple of little visitors today...

I couldn't believe my eyes...I was turning onto the highway that leads to my house about 1/10 of a mile away and saw two cute little piggys crossing the street! I even phoned Mark about it! I went outside to let Molly out and she started chasing after something when I realized it was the piggys I saw on the highway! I felt like I was back in the Philippines or Guam! They were really friendly...I had to take pictures of Molly playing with them. She was sooo good! She stopped when I told her to, but after seeing they wouldn't hurt her or she them it was pretty comical! I couldn't wait to blog it!

A little extra touch...

I felt it needed a little somethin' extra! Okay after I posted it I took off the bottom photo corner. I think that looks better.

Boo Yah!

I may add some eyelets to the top corners...what do you think? I had a lot of fun using the pastels for this card! I really like this bow too! I versa marked the whole stamped image to protect the pastels and cause I love to heat emboss! Tee Hee! I also cuttle bugged the Tango tangerine.

It's coming......

I can't wait till class is over tonight because, homework or not, I'm coming home to my "heaven" and breakin' in my new stamp set, Upsy Daisy. Whoooo hoooo, can't wait, but gonna have to!

Last minute project!

It's "Rally" Sunday this Sunday and found out I had to do something to represent our life group. I wasn't going to do anything because our group is in a state of flux, but with some persistence from Don, I threw this together. It only took like 4 hours! Ha! Ha! Now it's time to deliver some papers! Yahoo!

I bought my first clear stamp set...

I bought my first clear stamp set and it's for journaling.
It had examples of scrapbooking pages so I thought I'd put it up, since I'm not being very creative...

A little funny!

I hopped onto http://www.urbanfarmhouse.blogspot.com/ and saw this funny thing! She got side swiped by a semi and what's that saying, "necessity is the mother of invention", here's what she came up with! Just click on the picture, I guess. I had hoped the picture would just come up, but guess not!

Hey my 2 followers!

Wow! I think I'm gonna take my follower thing down! It's pretty sad and depressing! It kinda makes me not want to blog anymore! I can just text you two! Tee Hee! I have been too busy to do anything creative so there's no picture to post! I need some inspiration, come on Lori , anymore challenges? I know I haven't done the inspirational one yet, but nothing has inspired me. Maybe something will hit me soon! Love you two! Ha!

We finished the flower bed!

It may not be that exciting, but it looks better than a weed garden! I would like to do more fixer upper things every week, so we could sell this place and move! Being a military brat, it's really weird having stayed in one place for 9 years. I am so ready to move!!! Here is the result with the mulch! Oh and Mollie Joe had to get in the picture! Tee Hee!

Stampin' Club projects... I messed up!

I had to miss Stampin' Club due some training I had to do for Foster Care, but here is what I did from the projects Lori designed. I don't have the cool stamps she used as the greetings, so I will wait till our Sunday night rendezvous! I embellished the patchwork card a little, to make up for the "Friendship" I versa markered. My brown piece of paper was kinda plain too, so I just stamped and embossed the Enjoy on there. Then I die cut two little flowers using the cuttlebug and added a eyelet in the middle!
I say I messed up because I did the brown card opposite! The greeting should be at the bottom. Not that it really matters when all is said and done. I also, am not crazy about my handwriting "Friendship".
I just found a cool feature on my computer...I could put my SD card directly into the computer! How Cool! So much easier than using the Easy Share! Woo Hoo!

Presley's the Winner!!!

Presley
I have been watching the Greatest American Dog for weeks now and am enthralled at the results!!!! I screamed at the top of my lungs when the Boxer won! In case you didn't know I am the biggest fan for Boxer dogs! I had an inkling about him winning...Yeeaaahhh! You go boys! It was such a joy to watch and I am kind of sad it's all over! But I sure am glad Presley won! Thank you God for making Boxers!

Almost done!

We got the weeds out and plants in! Now we need to wait till next payday to get the ground cover. What do you all think I should put over it? I was thinkin' white rock, but what do all you people in the blog world think?

Here's the almost done, after pics...

We actually got the above part done last night! Then Mark had to play with the rotatiller to "mix in the new soil with the old"!

There's my brawny man!

Almost finished product! If I didn't have to buy tires it would be completely done!

Oops, Saturday's gone!

Okay, okay...another Saturday got away from me. I actually thought it was going to be raining, so I came up with a plan b. If Clyde studied for his test, then we would go to a movie. He did it so we went! By the way, I highly recommend Journey to the Center of the Earth. It was a lot better than I thought it would be. Then we had to clean the lower building of our church. We went to Lowe's and bought some soil for the flower bed, but unfortunately...that's as far as we got! Darkness is coming in like a flood and there's not much we can do now. Oops, Saturday's gone!
Here's the before pictures...hopefully, soon I'll have some after pics. How embarrassing!

As you can tell by the clearing in the middle, I attempted to clean out the weeds, but....the hoe broke in two!

Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love ya, tomorrow...

Nothing exciting has happened today, but tomorrow, I may have a little something to blog. I plan on working on my flower bed. I am going to be embarrassed to take the before picture, eeekk! I am not very good with landscaping...in fact, I've been at this little house for almost 9 years and have nothing to account for it landscape wise. Take that back, I have some bushes, that really need to be moved. I had planted trees when they were saplings, but now are too big to move...oops! I have a lovely, huge, dead pine tree in the back too. There used to be a row of lovely, live, pine trees, but they took the row of houses back there and added onto the highway, taking down the beautiful pine trees with them. Anyway, it really needs to be chopped down. I don't know why one tree was left. I used to have rose and forsythia bushes, but they died! Had beautiful mums around the mailbox at one point and dogs peed on them, so they died! We will try our hand at hostas...they are pretty hardy right? In the flower bed that we'll be working on tomorrow used to be annual flowers such as calendulas, zinnia, sunflowers, and marigolds. I liked picking them and adding sunshine to the house. I still enjoy fresh flowers, but I don't get them much anymore. What's up with that? Well, I didn't think I had much to say...hopefully, I have something good to share tomorrow. Saturdays tend to get away from me! Till tomorrow...

Rocky's paper album

Man, I made a great video on my computer and tried to post it, but something isn't working!!! I am so bummed and don't have the energy to do this over again...maybe I'll try tomorrow.

Trip to the Big City

We (the fam) took a trip to the Big City on Saturday...at least it's big compared to our little city. I got to go to one of my heavens on earth-Hobby Lobby! They were having a half off sale too. I couldn't spend much, but what I did get I was happy with. We went to Old Navy for some clothes for Clyde. We were having a rather good day, no attitude inflamed and it was Kosher...till we went to eat. We went to P.F. Changs for dinner. We ordered our meal. We got our appetizer ... 40 minutes and several temper tantrums later we got our food. The manager crouched down, and asked how we were doing...I usually state my true feelings in times like this so I said bluntly,"Not good!" He was very apologetic and said somehow our ticket was misplaced, so we got our food FREE, plus dessert!!! The meal tasted better after that...it would have been over $60. I highly recommend the Great Wall of China Cake. Mark and I both got one! Look at this bad boy...8 inches of chocolate heaven, with raspberry sauce and mixed berries...Yumm-o!

Experiencing technical difficulties...

Hey anybody, bored with my site! My internet has been down since Friday! It has been killing me not to be able to get on and check any one's blogs out! Let alone work on mine...not that my life is all that interesting. However, I do have a few stories to share and one project completed. It will have to wait, though, until tonight, after a Pampered Chef party! Anyone want to go? It's at 7. I need to get some more sleep, before my child gets home and we have to deal with the dreaded homework!!! So TTFN!
