...like you are making the same card over and over again? I feel like I am in a creative rut and can't get out...This is an invite to Clyde's birthday party, but I am wondering if it's too blah...I wanted to color the dog, but it wouldn't look good because it's dry embossed. If you have any suggestions on how to perk this thing up, please help!!!! I'm in a funk... Is this too young for a 13 year old's party? I am semi-new at this parenting stuff... This was supposed to serve as the Color Throwdown Challenge as well, but I am not sure I want to display this one for a challenge.

Very cute card! You could do some paper piercing on the white to add a little pop - or even some doodles along the edge of the white (you know, little dashes/squiggles and dots) or even faux stitching, or REAL stitching!! I think it's cute as it - it might be a little young for a 13 year-old (I don't have one though, so I don't really know and I only had a sister growing up...). I like it though!
Oh, and you could also color JUST the baloon - red, maybe with chalks??? I think that would be really cute :)
Bekki E. Burton.....This card is perfect!!! Don't change a thing!! I love it!!
Thanks for your alls comments! I asked Clyde and he thought it was too young, so there ya go...out of the mouth of babes. Now, that I am not going to give it away, I will try the chalk. I did color it on another one, but it didn't look perfect. I am glad I didn't make a bunch of them! Here I go again...
